Become a Volunteer at The Charity Hop Shop

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Charity Hop Shop! Our shop is always bustling with activity, donations arrive daily, and new customers visit all the time. With so much happening, it can be a challenge to keep up with unpacking, pricing, and getting fresh stock onto the shelves, which is why we’re always so grateful for helping hands like yours!

Shop Hours:

Volunteers are welcome to help any day between 9:30am and 3:30pm.

How You Can Help:

If we ask you to do something that you’re not comfortable with, please let us know. We always want your experience to be enjoyable and positive.

To protect our donors and customers, no stock may be sold directly from the unpacking station. All items must be displayed for a minimum of 24 hours before being available for staff or volunteer purchase (unless otherwise approved by the manager).

Thank you once again for giving your time to help us. Every hour you spend at the Charity Hop Shop makes a difference — all funds raised go directly towards the running of HOLAH Baby House and the other projects under Likhon iThemba.
